It was another case of a hit and run crash which happened last night. At least one man from Dover was left for dead on the road by a driver who does not have any compassionate for others. Last Thursday afternoon, Firefighters had to lower a man from a CSX railroad overpass for continued medical treatment after he was reportedly hit by a train at Oak Hill Avenue and Marshall Street. According to the Rural Metro ambulance crew, they were treating the victim on the trestle so they had call the assistance of the firefighters. WHITPAIN TWP., Pa. – A crash on Route 202 in Montgomery County on Friday morning seriously injured two people. Both are now in the hospital in serious condition. The crash occurred at 9:45 a.m. on Route 202 (Dekalb Pike) in the vicinity of Cherry Lane in Whitpain Township. At least three people were injured at a two car accident which happened in the town of Hamburg. Police Accident Investigation Unit is investigating a two car accident which took place about 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday Sept. 11, on Southwestern Boulevard near Lake View Road. PHILADELPHIA – Police reported that a father who pushed his son to safety was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in Philadelphia. At around 11 p.m., 43-y-ear-old man was struck after he shoved his 5-year-old son to safety on the heavily traveled Roosevelt Boulevard. NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA – A hit-and-run driver is now the object of a police search. Philadelphia police are on the hunt for the driver who struck and killed a man on Roosevelt Boulevard this morning. A Septa bus hit a man in Philadelphia’s Fox Chase section which had the victim hospitalized in serious condition. Police later reported that the man, believed to be in his 30′s, was struck by a Route 18 bus on Oxford Avenue near Loney Street. Medics rushed the victim to Albert Einstein Medical Center for care. He was a trauma alert while in transit. No one else was injured.
