PHILADELPHIA, PA – Police have released video of the car they are looking for in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a bicyclist in Philadelphia, according to WPVI.
The accident happened at about 8:35 p.m. on July 12. 32-year-old William Lindsay III of Havertown was fatally struck while he was riding his bike on Ridge Avenue in the city’s Strawberry Mansion section, less than a mile away from his house.
Police are searching for a white Chevy Camaro with a red racing stripe on the hood which was observed leaving the scene. It was last seen heading northbound on Route 1 from Ridge Avenue. The vehicle may have damage to the front windshield on the passenger side.
A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case. The Lindsay family also issued a public plea for the driver involved to come forward.
