RIDLEY PARK, PA – An accident involving a road roller claimed the life of a construction worker in Ridley Park Wednesday morning, WPVI reports.

The incident occurred just before 9:30 a.m. on the 400 block of Free Street, where work was underway on a project near Ridley Park Middle School.

The worker was reportedly pinned between the road roller and a loading dock at the school. The victim’s identity has not yet been released. Authorities are investigating the accident.

The project was being done near the school while students are learning from home.
