PHILADELPHIA, PA – An accident that involved multiple vehicles in Philadelphia left five people injured Tuesday night, according to WPVI.
The incident occurred in the area of Broad Street and Montgomery Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. Four cars were involved in the crash, including an unmarked police cruiser.
Emergency crews were on the scene to pull some of those injured from the vehicles. No details were released on the severity of the injuries. Four of the victims were taken to Temple University Hospital, while the other person was sent to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the wreck.
