FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA – Authorities released new details about a hit-and-run crash that killed a bicyclist in Bucks County last week, WPVI reports.

This is an update to a previous story.

The bicyclist, an unidentified 34-year-old man, was fatally struck on Route 1 North in Falls Township near the exit for Fairless Hills at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police said a black BMW sedan was found abandoned on the side of the road with damage to the front-end and windshield.

A search is now underway for the person who was driving the car at the time of the accident. Investigators said they know who the car is registered to.  Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
