PHILADELPHIA, PA – A woman was killed when the motorcycle she was riding collided with an SUV in Philadelphia over the weekend, Fox 29 reports.
The incident happened just before 7 p.m. Saturday on Stenton Avenue at Haines Street in the city’s West Oak Lane neighborhood.
Police said the motorcycle rider was going north when the bike was struck by a southbound Land Rover that was trying to make a left turn into a parking lot. The 38-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity was not immediately released.
The other driver remained at the scene and there was no word on whether any charges will be filed.
