News: 2 men killed when SUV hits tree in Kensington

PHILADELPHIA, PA – An accident involving a sport utility vehicle claimed the lives of two men in the Kensington section of Philadelphia Thursday morning, according to Fox 29.

Police said the incident occurred sometime after 7 a.m. on the 2500 block of Aramingo Avenue, where a Chevy Tracker going south crashed into a tree.

The 34-year-old driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. A 45-year-old passenger died about an hour later at Temple University Hospital. The identities of the two victims have not yet been released. No one else was hurt.

No information was released on what may have caused the fatal accident.
