State Police reported that a Woodland woman died Tuesday after she was ejected from her vehicle during a crash off Route 563, the New Jersey State Police said. At 5 p.m., Sylvia Burgos, 44, was driving south. near the Washington-Woodland border when she lost control, went off the roadway into a ditch,  struck a tree and flipped onto its roof. Another emergency airlift saved the life of a man from Warwick. After a car accident, he was immediately airlifted to the hospital and doctors found that he had severe injuries. It was a Saturday morning after a minivan where he was a passenger in crashed on Route 152 in Hilltown. This information was supplied by the police. The victim was identified as David Shelley, 53, from Warwick. A Septa bus hit a man in Philadelphia’s Fox Chase section which had the victim hospitalized in serious condition. Police later reported that the man, believed to be in his 30′s, was struck by a Route 18 bus on Oxford Avenue near Loney Street. Medics rushed the victim to Albert Einstein Medical Center for care. He was a trauma alert while in transit. No one else was injured. 8/4/12- 4 Pedestrians were struck outside a Pottstown pizza shop located near the intersection of High and Hanover Streets at 1:30 this afternoon. Witness statements indicate that a woman lost control of her car and drove onto the sidewalk striking the accident victims. As of this writing, reports say that one pedestrain was flown from the scene and others were taken to local hospitals. The cause of this accident is currently unknown. July 22, 2012 – A car rear ended a Septa Bus at 7th and Allegheny in North Philadelphia resulting in a seven car chain reaction accident. Several people were injured  when the car rear struck. On June 20th, 2012 a Septa bus was rear ended by a dump truck in the city’s Logan Section. The crash occurred at 10:40 in the morning at Germantown and Windrim Avenues. The bus was stopped at Windrim when the dump truck struck it. As a result of the accident, 12 passengers in addition to the dump truck driver were taken to emergency rooms at Einstein and Temple Hospitals. The injuries reported were neck and back injuries.
